William O'Brien State Park Tent Campgrounds

A great "get away" park only one hour from the Twin Cities, William O'Brien provides a beautiful setting for quality recreation along the banks of the St. Croix River. Hiking trails offer quiet exploration of the park's rolling, wooded hills. For anglers, the channels of the St. Croix have northerns, walleye, bass and trout. Getting There

The park is located 12 miles north of Stillwater on State Highway 95, near the town of Marine-on-St. Croix.

Fifty tent sites are available at a very low cost of $10 for two nights.  These are drive-in sites and some are located in shady areas, some in open areas.  This campground is NOT for Ronvoy participants, unless an entire Ronvoy vehicle tent camps.  Otherwise, participants will be expected to provide their own transportation to and from William O'Brien, and also provide meals.

Flush toilets and hot showers await the campers at William O'Brien.

Visitor Center	About 1/4 Mile from Park Office.
Center includes interpretive exhibits, pop machines, drinking water, wood stove and flush toilets.
Interpretive Exhibit	Visitor Center
Located in the Visitor Center. In winter, Center is open 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily. Center is open extended hours in the summer.
Naturalist Programs	In Visitor Center
Outdoor education programs are offered year-round.
Gift Shop	Park Office
Limited gifts, books and shirts available at park office.
Groceries	Within 10 Miles
In Marine-on-St. Croix and Scandia.
Rentals	Canoes
Concessionaire rental in park offers canoe rental from early May through the end of October. Shuttle service also available.

Available year-round.

Available early May through October.
